Date of Death: Tuesday 6th February 2024

We, the family of the late Eddie Kelly, who died on 6 February 2024, wish to express our deepest appreciation to all those who sympathized with us during our recent sad bereavement.
Thank you to all our family, friends, neighbours, those who travelled long distances to be with us, called to the house, attended the funeral or joined with us over the webcam, sent messages, mass cards, sympathy cards and flowers.
We also wish to thank the doctors and staff of Banbridge Group Practice for their unfailing care of Daddy, especially over the last few years and we also wish to thank the carers who called with Daddy for their kindness to him.
Our grateful thanks to Bishop John McAreavey, and Monsignor Michael Conway for the deeply spiritual and personal Requiem Mass; to Mary McCabe, soloist and Kieran Scullion organist, for the beautiful music which so enhanced the liturgy; to all those who contributed in any way to the funeral; to Canon Denis McKinlay and Mary Steele for their ministry to Daddy and Fr. Tony Owens, Drumaroad, whose compassion and support was of great comfort to us.
To the staff and pupils of St Mary’s Primary School, Banbridge for the guard of honour at the funeral.
To Patricia and her team at Heaney Keenan, who were an unfailing support to us, thank you for your professionalism, attention, care and guidance.
It is impossible to thank everyone individually for their support and sympathy so please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our family’s sincere appreciation and gratitude.

Eddie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 2nd March at 5 p.m. in St Malachy’s Church, Castlewellan.
