Gerard’s Anniversary Mass will be in St. Malachy’s Church, Ballymacilroy on Tuesday 7th November at 7pm.

Family Acknowledgement

We, the family of the late Gerard Kelly, would like to sincerely thank all those who sympathised with us since our recent bereavement. We are especially grateful to all those who attended the wake and funeral and sent mass cards, flowers or forwarded on their condolences. We would also like thank all those who called with Gerard during the time of his short illness.

We wish to thank all those who were involved in the care of Gerard over the last 5 months. Thanks to all the staff he met in Craigavon Area hospital, especially Dr. Uprichard and the team in the Mandevillle Unit, with a special thanks also to Muriel and Matthew of Macmillan.
Thank you to the staff of Errigal Medical Centre, particularly Dr McGarvey for her care and attention.

Many thanks to Ann Marie and the Ballygawley District Nursing team and also physio Linda who attended to Gerard’s needs so well at home.
Special word of thanks to the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service who attended Gerard with such professionalism and compassion in his final hours, we will be forever indebted to you.

We would like to thank all the family, friends and neighbours that provided refreshments and organised the house, as well as local business that provided food, seating and lighting over the course of the wake, we are very grateful. Particular thanks to PD Coaches and Damien Murphy for transport.
Sincere appreciation to Errigal Ciaran GAC who have went over and above with support for the family since Gerard’s passing and at the time of the wake and funeral. Also, thanks to all the members that participated in a guard of honour alongside the staff and pupils of St. Malachys P.S.
Thanks to Noleen and Catherine Neill for the beautiful music they provided at the funeral.

Many thanks to Paudge Quinn and Donna McGroarty, and their team for the highly dignified manner in which Gerard’s funeral was carried out, and for the support provided to the family throughout. Thanks also to Quinn’s Corner for providing refreshments after the funeral.
We are extremely grateful to Fr M O’Dwyer for the beautiful funeral service he conducted and also for the help and spiritual support he provided to Gerard over his short illness, and for the ongoing support to our family following his death.

It would be impossible to thank everyone individually for all support and kindness shown to the family at the time of our loss, but please know it is greatly appreciated.

Gerard’s months mind Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 7th December 2022 in St. Malachy’s Church Ballymacilroy at 7pm.
Guard him dear Jesus, don’t leave him alone, love him in Heaven, like we did at home.

Funeral Notice

KELLY Gerard – November 7th 2022. Late of 24 Tullyglush Road, Ballygawley.

Dearly beloved husband of Dympna, dear father of Mariesa, Louise, Christina, John, Christopher, Loretta and Eoin, adored grandfather and dear brother of Sean, Eileen and the late Brendan and baby James RIP.

Reposing at his late residence until removal on Thursday at 1.30pm for 2pm Requiem Mass in St Malachys Church, Ballymacilroy. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

Very deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, brother, sister, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and extended family circle.
