We, the family of the late Kevin Kelly of 38 Rathkeele Way / 32 Farland Way, Derry, wish to express our sincerest thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement.
A Sincere thanks to everyone who called to the house to pay there respects, sent flowers, mass cards, sympathy cards and messages of condolence. Thanks also to everyone who provided food, during and after the wake. We really appreciate your kindness.
To the doctors and nurses of ICU, for caring for Kevin during his stay at Altnagelvin Hospital.
Thanks also to McClafferty Funeral Directors for their professionalism in dealing with the Funeral.
Thankyou to Fr. Joe Gormley for the beautiful requiem mass, it was a sincere comfort to us all. Thankyou also to Ciara McCafferty for the beautiful music and singing.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family’s deep appreciation.
Kevin’s month’s mind mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Chapel, Creggan on Friday 22nd April at 7.30pm.
KELLY Kevin, peacefully at Altnagelvin hospital on the 25th of March 2022. Late of 32 Farland Way. May he rest in peace.
Beloved husband of the late wee Tracey. Devoted son of Ena and the late Tony. Loving brother of Jimmy, Tommy, Martin, Tiny, Seany, Margaret, Richard, Terry and Gary. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of wee Tracey’s family, his own wider family circle, friends and neighbours.
Kevin’s remains will repose at his late family home 38 Rathkeele Way, from 5:30pm this evening.
Funeral leaving from there on Monday 28th March at 9:20am for 10am requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Foyle Hospice c/o the immediate family or Mr. Kieran Connor, McClafferty Funeral Directors, Unit 3 Rathmor Business Pk, Derry, BT48 0LZ.
