The wife, daughters and family circle of the late Rev Canon Eric Kingston wish to thank all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. Thanks to Dr McGivern, to her colleagues and all staff at Dromara Surgery for their unfailing care and attention. Our gratitude to the South Eastern Health and Social Care trust, especially for their provision of wonderful carers and district nurses. Also thanks to those friends and neighbours who sent cards, telephoned, brought gifts, made a donation, cheques payable to C.M.S. Ireland c/o Douglas Funeral Directors, attended the funeral service or helped in any other way.

KINGSTON, Eric Rev. Canon – 8th February 2022. Peacefully at his home, Kinedale Park, Ballynahinch.

Born in Bantry, Co Cork, former rector of the group parishes of Annahilt and Magherahamlet, Diocese of Down and Dromore. Dearly loved and loving husband of Kathleen, devoted father of Susan and Helen, father-in-law of Aubrey and Stuart, grandfather of Steven, Katrina, Gareth and great-grandfather of Mollie, Alfie and Caleb. Dear brother of Gladys Giltrap, Ena Pottie and the late Doris Kingston.

House Strictly Private. Funeral service will be held in The Church of the Ascension, Glebe Road, Annahilt on Friday 11th February at 2.30pm followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard. Social Distancing guidelines to be observed.

Family Flowers Only. Donations if desired, cheques payable to C.M.S. Ireland c/o Douglas Funeral Directors, 20 Dromore Road, Ballynahinch, BT24 8HP.
