Mark LAVERTY

Date of Death: Friday 8th October 2021 Town: Ballynahinch
Date of Death: Friday 8th October 2021

The Family of Mark Laverty, who passed away 8th October 2021, wish to express our sincere thanks and gratitude for the help and support during this hard time.

We wish to thank Fr.Henry for the lovely requiem Mass at St. Patrick’s Church Downpatrick.

We would like to thank all the Doctors, Nurses and other staff that helped him during his short battle with cancer, especially those in ward 2B of the Cancer Centre, Belfast City Hospital.
We wish to thank all our relatives and friends who helped in any way and for everyone who came to pay their respects and those who passed on any messages and cards. This was greatly appreciated at this tough time and we wouldn’t have been able to get through it all without this help and support.

Thank you all for your kind donations to MacMillan Cancer. MacMillan Cancer gave excellent support during Mark’s short battle with cancer and it was Mark’s wish that they should be supported to continue their work for the people coming after him. We wish to especially thank Mark’s Friend and Boss of many years, Paul Bell, for his generous donation towards this.
We wish to especially thank all at Charles Rourke & Sons funeral directors. Their help with organising, their compassion at a tough time and their professionalism was excellent and helped the family through this time.

We trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere thanks and gratitude for the help and support since the passing of Mark.

Mark’ Months mind mass will be held at St.Patrick’s, Downpatrick, on Friday 12th November at 7.30pm.
Numbers are restricted to 40 people. We ask that people are mindful of this to allow as much family to attend as possible.
For those who can’t attend, the mass will be live streamed on the Chapels Facebook page.
