Date of Death: Thursday 9th September 2021 Town: Maghera
Date of Death: Thursday 9th September 2021

The Wife Helen and Family of the late Billy Linton would like to express their most sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. We gratefully acknowledge the overwhelming support received from so many family and friends and to everyone who prayed for Billy and the family. To those who sent cards, telephoned, provided food, sent messages of sympathy and flowers, attended the wake and funeral and to those who stood along the funeral route to pay their respects.

The family are also very grateful for the generous charitable donations received in memory of Billy to The Macmillan Unit, Antrim Area Hospital. Heartfelt thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of The Cancer Centre, Altnagelvin, The City Hospital, Belfast, Ward B2 and the Macmillan Unit of Antrim Area Hospital and Maghera Health Centre, especially Dr. Monaghan.

Sincere thanks to Rev Gareth Stewart for kindly granting the use of Maghera Presbyterian Church for Billy’s funeral service, to all the Ministers who called at the Family home, to Rev Gary Law for his spiritual support, visitations and conducting the funeral service and to Mrs Adrienne Brooks for playing the organ so beautifully.

Finally, a special word of thanks to Helen of D. Watters Funeral Services for conducting the funeral in such a professional manner and for the compassion and care shown to the family at this very difficult time. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere appreciation.
