Peter Anthony LOUGHRAN

Date of Death: Friday 26th August 2022 Town: Magherafelt
Date of Death: Friday 26th August 2022

The wife, children, parents, sister and the entire family circle of the late Peter Loughran R.I.P wish to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised with them during their recent sad bereavement. We really appreciated all the support we received from our kind family, neighbours and friends that helped us throughout the wake and funeral.

Thanks to everyone who attended the wake, sent messages, mass cards, sympathy cards and food. Thank you to everyone who provided refreshments and to those close friends and family who helped with all other arrangements at the house.

Special thanks to all the district nurses and carers who assisted in Peter’s aid in the latter stages of his illness. And also to Marie Curie; their nurses and health care assistants, for the care and support they provided to Peter and indeed us, his family.

Thanks to everyone who attended the funeral, watched via web cam and to all who assisted in carrying his coffin. A special word of thanks to Daniel Loughran for his very kind address at the funeral and to all LCC for everything.

We extend a special thank you to Fr Lawrence Boyle and Fr Paddy Doherty for all the compassion and support shown to the family during Peters illness and for celebrating requiem mass. Thank you to the readers, eucharistic ministers and gift bearers who contributed to the funeral. Many thanks to Jackie Fox and Gerry Loughran for the beautiful music provided. Thanks also to the Dublin Gospel Choir for their special musical contribution to the funeral.

Many thanks to Niall Loughran Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. A special thank you to Joanna for all the help and support given during a difficult time, it was so very much appreciated. Thank you also to Mickey McElhatton and all the staff of the Greenvale for providing the food after the funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation. The holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for your intention.

Peter’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 24th September 6pm in Holy Trinity Church, Cookstown. It will also be able to be viewed via webcam
