The wife and family of the late Stephen Maxwell would like to express their sincere thanks to everyone who supported them and sympathised with them in the loss of their beloved Husband, Son and Brother.

The family would like to acknowledge the care Stephen was given in the last year by the dedicated Larne district nursing team, Larne medical practice, the Oncologists and Nurses in both the Cancer Centre and Laurel House and finally NI Hospice district Nursing team and Marie Curie who supported Stephen in his final days.
The family are extremely grateful to Fr O Brien and Deacon Ricky Looney for their support during their bereavement and for the beautiful service they provided which was a fitting tribute to the amazing person Stephen was. With thanks also to Megan Mooney for providing the gorgeous music and singing during the service.
Special recognition to Michael McSparron funeral directors for his care, compassion, dedication and professionalism in taking care of every detail of the funeral arrangements to allow the family time to come to terms with their loss.
Thanks also to St Comgall’s Recreation Club and Marty’s Catering Service for providing venue and refreshments following the service.
The family would like to send sincere thanks to Larne FC and partners who enabled Stephens family to return from Australia to spend precious time with their brother and uncle in his final days.

Stephens Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 21st January 2024 at 10.00am Mass in St. Mac Nissis’s Church.
On his soul sweet Jesus have mercy.

MAXWELL Stephen (Larne) 23rd December 2023 peacefully at his home 2 Porter Crescent, surrounded by his loving family.

Stephen devoted husband of Jayne-Marie and loving son of Martin and Marian.

Funeral from his late residence on Wednesday 27th. December at 10.15am to

St. Mac Nissis’s Church for Requiem Mass at 11.00am with burial immediately afterwards in Larne Cemetery .

Very deeply regretted by his sorrowing Wife, parents Martin and Marian, mother in law Mena (Mc Neill ),sisters Joanne, and Paula, brothers in law Ciaron, Barry, Neil and Darren. Sisters in law Pauline and Orlagh, nephews Jamie, Lee, Ronan and Padraig. Everyone is welcome to call at the family home please note family time from 8pm until 10am each day .

Family flowers only please donations in lieu if desired to be sent directly to N I Hospice or Marie Curie nurses. St. Mac Nissis pray for him.
