Date of Death: Wednesday 15th February 2023 Town: Fintona
Date of Death: Wednesday 15th February 2023

The family of the late Stephen McAlonan, would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through the recent loss of Stephen, our much loved husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who called at the wake house, telephoned, sent Mass or sympathy cards, or flowers, to those who left messages on line or via social media and to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass.

Thank you to our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways to grieve as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Seán Mulligan, for his spiritual support and the comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Mass, especially our musicians Molly McKeever and Patrick Slevin who provided the beautiful music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out, and to the grave digger Tommy for preparing Stephen’s final resting place. We also thank Tony’s on the Green for the welcome refreshments after the burial.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Stephen’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Saturday 25th March 2023 at 6.00 pm. Our Lady pray for him.
