The family and friends of the late Monica McAuley would like to thank everyone involved in her care and we appreciate the help and support shown to our family. A particular word of thanks to the Marie Curie Nurses, who provided great comfort to Monica. We also appreciate the donations made to Marie Curie in lieu of flowers.
A special word of thanks to Fr. Naughton and Fr. Ralph who attended Monica during her short illness.
We were comforted by the touching funeral mass and the celebration of her life.
We also acknowledge the kindness and professionalism shown to us by McGennity funeral directors.
Monica’s months mind mass will be celebrated in St Michaels Church, Killean, at 11am on Sunday 24th October.
McAULEY (née Dunne) Monica died on 19th September 2021, peacefully at home, Edenview, Kelly’s Road, Killean, with her beloved family.
Beloved wife of Seamus and loving mother of Sean, Bronagh, Ciaran, Ruairi, Siobhan and Meabh.
Monica’s remains will repose in Mc Gennity’s Funeral Home, 18 Forkhill Road, Newry BT35 8LZ tomorrow (Monday 20th September) from 2pm until 4pm and from 7pm until 9pm.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday (21st September) at 11am in St. Michael’s Church, Killean, followed by private cremation later.
The family home is to remain private please.
Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Joseph pray for her.
Very deeply regretted by her loving husband, sons, daughters, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews and the wider family circle.
