The family of the late Mardie McCallion would like to thank everyone who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. For all who attended the wake and funeral mass, especially those who travelled a distance to be with us, it was very much appreciated.
For all who sent mass cards, letters and messages or expressed their sympathy in any other way, thank you.
Thanks to the doctors at Abbey Medical for their care and support to mum over the years and especially in the final years of her illness.

Thanks to the community care teams who attended mum at home and to all her careers for the love and dignity with which you cared for mum, we her family will be forever grateful.
Thanks to Fr Daniel McFaul and Fr Paul Farren for the beautiful requiem mass.
Thank you to Lauren and Beth Doherty and to Aoibheann Barr for the beautiful music.
A sincere heartfelt thanks to Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors for carrying out the funeral arrangements.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this will be accepted as a sincere token of our thanks and gratitude to everyone.

Mardie’s months mind mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 2nd January at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Church, Creggan. All welcome.

McCALLION (née Deeney) Mardie 1st December 2023, peacefully at her home, 20 Lislane Drive.

Beloved wife of the late Pat, loving mother of Kay, Sheila, Lily, Bill, Jackie, Eileen, Thomas, Lucia, Margo, Deirdre and the late baby Patricia.

Funeral leaving her home on Monday, 4th December at 11.20am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 12.00noon. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if wished, to DEEDS, Old Library Trust, 2 Central Drive, Creggan, BT48 9QH. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for her.
