Jean, Fr Liam, Sharon and Gregory, family of Hugh Mc Clarey would like to express their sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised and supported them during their recent sad bereavement.
Thanks to all our kind relatives and neighbours who sent Mass and sympathy cards, telephoned and attended Hugh’s wake and funeral or watched on line.

A sincere thank you to Monsignor Bryan McCanny for his particular pastoral care throughout the wake and for his con- celebrating with Fr John Regan S.C.A. and Fr Liam. Thanks also to Fr Chris McDermott.

Special thank you to all the doctors and nursing staff on Ward 42 Altnagelvin hospital, Dr Quinn and Dr Brolly, all the staff at Scroggy Road Health Centre and all the nurses and carers who attended Hugh in his home. Thanks also to the staff of Gibsons Chemist.

Thanks to O’Brien & McGrotty Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral was carried out and also to the gravedigger for preparing Hugh’s final resting place. Thanks to Jimmy the sacristan and Ashleen Allen for the singing.

As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.

The Holy sacrifice of The Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Hugh’s Months Minds Mass will take place Saturday 18th December at 6pm in Christ the King Limavady.

McCLAREY Hugh died on 19th November 2021, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital. Late of 88 Highlands Rd, Limavady.

Beloved husband of Jean. Caring father of Liam, Sharon,Gregory and father-in-law of John and Gaynor. Devoted Grandfather of David, Brian, Sarah-Jayne, Niamh and Beth also a great-grandfather. Brother of George, and the late Willie-John, JP, Teresa, Mary-Jo and Tony R.I.P

His remains will repose at his late residence 88 Highlands Rd.
Funeral from there on Monday 22nd November at 10.20am for 11am requiem mass at St.Finloughs Church. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu can be made to ‘St.Finloughs Hall’ c/o O’Brien & McGrotty Funeral Directors,
16 Glenside Brae, Limavady.

Please adhere to current government guidelines and social distancing measures currently in place.
