Annie McCONNELL (née McLaughlin)

Date of Death: Friday 4th February 2022 Town: Fintona
Date of Death: Friday 4th February 2022

Annie passed away on the 4th of February, a widely respected, devoted family lady, mother, mother in law, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. We, her family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. We have been overwhelmed by the sheer volume of mass and sympathy cards and private messages we have received. We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Our thanks to those who called to the house, who telephoned, who sent Mass or sympathy cards, or flowers and those who left messages online or via social media. Thanks to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass or via the webcam. Sincere thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped out in so many ways, to help us grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Seán Mulligan and Father Damien Bresnahan for their spiritual support and the comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who assisted with the Mass, especially the choir who provided the beautiful music. Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave digger Tommy for preparing Annie’s final resting place.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Annie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Saturday 5th March at 10am and may also be viewed via the Donacavey Parish Webcam. “Those we love don’t go away they walk beside us everyday, unseen, unheard but always near, still loved, still missed, still very dear “
Our Lady pray for her.
