1st Anniversary

In loving memory of a much loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who passed away on 26th April 2023.

Loved and remembered by his wife Mary, sons Damien, Aidan and Martin, daughters-in-law, Oonagh, Cáitlin and Claire and his 9 grandchildren.

Pat’s 1st anniversary Mass will be celebrated in St. John’s Church, Galbally on Friday the 26th April 2024 at 7.30pm.

May he rest in peace.

The Wife and family of the late Pat McCrory wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on the recent bereavement of a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and dear friend.

Our heartfelt thanks to all who cared for Pat in his last few months, to Dr Cormac McKay and staff of Ardmore Practice, to Norma and the District Nurses, to the Carers, Marie Curie Team, Enable Care and Jennifer in Medicare who made Pat’s last few weeks so comfortable.

We sincerely thank all our neighbours, friends and extended family that helped out during the wake, your kindness and support have been overwhelming. Thanks to everyone who sent mass and sympathy cards and to the many people who brought food and gifts. Thanks especially to those who travelled long distances to be with us.

Thanks to our neighbours for preparing the grave and all who helped with parking, organising shuttle bus services, Alskea Contracts for providing lighting and to KC Marquees.

A special word of thanks to Fr. Gerard McAleer, who celebrated Pat’s funeral mass, and for his support and prayers during his illness. To Fr. Paddy McGuckin and Fr. Patrick Breslan for their visits to Pat and to Fr. Leo Traynor for his prayers and spiritual support.

Special thanks also to Galbally Senior Choir and to Angela Morgan, Kevin Hurson, Nicola McCrory, Eugene Hackett & Grandchildren Cathy-Ann and Daniel McCrory for their beautiful & fitting music and singing during the funeral mass.

Thanks also to the readers, gift bearers, Eucharistic Ministers, Sacristan, and all who contributed to the Requiem Mass. A word of heartfelt appreciation for the guard of honour by Pat’s former work colleagues from T.J. McKenna & Son & Galbally Pearses.

A special word of thanks goes to Paudge Quinn Undertaker for taking such care of Pat and our family, and for carrying out the funeral arrangements with great dignity and professionalism, and for the refreshments after the funeral. Thanks also to Galbally Community Centre for the use of the hall and equipment and for all their assistance.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this as an expression of our sincere appreciation to all who helped us in any way. The holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for your intentions. Pat’s month mind mass will take place on Friday 26th May 2023 in St John The Baptist Church, Galbally at 7.30pm.

McCRORY Pat – 20 Reclain Road, Galbally, Dungannon, Co Tyrone, April 26th 2023. Peacefully at home surrounded by his family and friends.

Dearly beloved husband of Mary, and dear Father of Damien (Oonagh), Aidan (Caitlin) and Martin (Claire). Brother of Plunkett, Ann (Woods) Seamus and the late Johnny (RIP). Adoring grandfather to Susie, Cathy-Ann, Cassie, Daniel, Pádraig, Leo, Matthew, Roán and Seanan.

Reposing at his late residence until removal on Saturday 29th April at 10.30am for 11am requiem Mass in the Church of Saint John the Baptist Galbally. Internment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, grandchildren, brothers, sister, daughters-in-law and entire family circle.

House private please on Saturday morning to family and friends.
