We, the family of the late Marie McElroy wish to thank all those who sympathised with us and supported us on our recent sad loss.
Thank you to all those who attended the Wake and Funeral Mass, sent Mass Cards and Messages of Sympathy directly and via social media.
Our sincere appreciation to Dr. Patrina Ryan, Life and Time, the District Nursing Team and all those involved in Mum’s care.
Special thanks to Monsignor Hugh Connolly for the beautiful Funeral Mass. Thanks to the musician for the lovely music and singing.
Our deepest appreciation to all who donated in memory of our Mum to Life and Time.
Finally, we wish to thank McAnulty Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this Acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Marie, beloved wife of the late Bernard (Barney) and loving mother of Bernice, Paula, Jimmy and Barry. 4, Drumsesk Place, Warrenpoint. Cherished mother-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother and much loved sister of Pat, Jim, Bernadette, Ann, Rosaleen and the late Louis, Michael and Dessie. May her soul rest in peace.
Marie’s remains will repose at her home on Wednesday from 5pm – 10pm and on Thursday from 11am – 10pm. Removal on Friday at 10am arriving at St Peter’s Church, Warrenpoint for 10.30am Requiem Mass (churchmedia.tv) followed by interment in St Peter’s Cemetery. House Private on morning of funeral please.
