Sean McELROY
We, the family of the late Eileen (nee Duffy) and Sean McElroy of Violet Hill Avenue, Newry wish to express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement. Our heartfelt thanks to relatives, friends, neighbours who called at the family home, sent Mass Offerings, sympathy cards, floral displays, private messages, phone calls and all those who showed respect by standing along the route to the Church.
Special thanks to our aunts and cousins who provided food for the whole week and looked after the kitchen. Our deepest appreciation to the nurses and staff of Carlingford Lodge Nursing Home, Warrenpoint for looking after both Mum and Dad for their short time there, thanks also to all the carers who attended Mum and Dad when they were at home. A sincere word of thanks to the doctors and staff of Clanrye Medical Practice, Meadowlands Surgery and for a short time Dr Gallen of Summerhill Surgery, Warrenpoint. Special thanks to Gordons Chemist for all their kindness to Mum and Dad over the years.
Special thanks goes to the Kelly Family for their lovely touching music throughout the Mass. Thanks also to the NIFRS and Mayobridge GAC for their guards of honour along the route and outside the Church, also to the PSNI for closing the roads to let the funeral cortege go through. We would also like to thank Heaney Keenan Funeral Directors for their dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Special thanks also goes to Mourne Office Supplies for the special Mass Booklet that will be a lasting memory to our family.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Mum and Dad’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 27th February at 9.30am in St Catherine’s Church, Dominic Street, Newry.
