Briege McFLYNN (née McDonald)
The husband, sons, daughters, grandchildren and the entire family circle of the late Mrs Briege McFlynn (née McDonald) wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us in our sad bereavement on 2nd October 2021 of a much loved wife, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. A special thanks to Fr. McArdle for the celebration of the beautiful Requiem Mass and fitting homily and also to Fr. McGinley and Fr. McCann for assisting him. Thanks to Mr Michael Corey for providing lovely music and singing to accompany the Mass. Many thanks to the Sacristan and Briege’s brother-in-law, Mr Pat Clarke, for his assistance with the Mass. Sincere thanks to Briege’s brothers and sisters, relatives, neighbours and friends for their help and support at the wake and funeral.
A special word of thanks to Briege’s brothers and sisters who were able to reminisce and recall fond memories that they had growing up together in Creggan and Lissan. Thanks to everyone who called at the house, telephoned, posted messages on social media, sent Mass Cards, Sympathy Cards, floral tributes, attended the funeral, lined the route of the funeral cortege and joined us via the Church webcam. We are also grateful for the provisions kindly donated to the house by Kelly’s Eurospar Moneymore, CK’s café Moneymore, family members and neighbours. Many thanks for the use of chairs and crockery from Stewartstown Parish Hall. Thanks to the McCusker brothers, Funeral Directors for the dignified and compassionate manner in which they conducted the funeral arrangements and thanks also to the grave diggers.
Thanks to the doctors and staff in Antrim Area Hospital and Moneymore Medical Surgery for caring for Briege and to the staff in Moneymore Pharmacy for their help. Many thanks to Fr. O’Reilly, Chaplain in Antrim Area Hospital for his prayers. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as our token of our heartfelt appreciation and sincere thanks. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Briege’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in the Church of St. John and St. Trea, Moneymore on Tuesday 2nd November at 7:30pm.
