The family of the late Anne McGuigan, 3 Gortahurk Road Draperstown, wish to thank all of those who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement.

Our sincere thanks to Draperstown doctors, District nurses, the Marie Curie Carers, the Desertmartin team of Homehelps and staff at Antrim hospital, who cared for Mammy during her short illness.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who helped at the house and everyone who attended the wake. Thanks to all who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, letters or messages via social media.

We would also like to thank Fr. Sean McGuigan and Fr. McGirr for the beautiful funeral mass and to Fr. Madden for presiding at the funeral. Thanks to Anthony McBride for the lovely music and singing during the funeral mass. Thanks to the readers and church sacristans and also Carn Media for the live broadcast of the funeral. Thanks to all those who lined the route to the Chapel, attended the funeral or watched via livestream.

Anne’s month’s mind will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church Keenaught, on Saturday 4th December at 7.30pm.

McGUIGAN, Anne died on 6th November 2021, peacefully at home, 3 Gortahurk Road.

Loving daughter of the Late Eileen and John McGuigan (Brackalislea), beloved wife of the late Brendan and loving mother of Brenda O’Connor, mother-in-law of Peter and beloved grandmother of Ben, Erin and Lily, also sister of the late May and Brian (Brackalislea) and Sean (Portglenone).

Remains will leave her home at 10.30am tomorrow (Monday) for Requiem Mass at St. Patrick’s Church, Keenaught, and burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Due to current covid restrictions social distancing must be adhered to.
