We the family of the late Maureen McGuigan wish to express our heartfelt thank you to everyone who sympathised with us on our recent sad passing of our mother Maureen.
We are grateful to all those who have sent mass cards, sent letters, telephoned, called to the house, brought food, sent floral tributes and sent messages via social media.
To friends and family who helped in anyway during the last difficult days, we will always be grateful.
To Dr. Quinn & Dr. Mulholland and staff of Newtownhamilton Health Centre, Siobhan & Patricia and all the District Nurses, Acute Care & Carers, for looking after Mam down through the years and especially the last difficult journey. To the staff of Clarkes Chemist, thank you.
To Fr. Tremer for his spiritual comfort and kindness to Mam and for a beautiful mass. To Dearbhla & Joanna for the beautiful singing.
Thank you to Seamus & Aisling Murray for their compassion and professionalism, help and support given to us during the wake and funeral and to Andrew the gravedigger.
To Mona McEntee & Staff for beautiful food and to Gary Keenan & Staff of the Lite ‘N’ Easy.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation.
Maureen’s months mind mass will be celebrated Sunday 27th February 2022 at 10am in St Michael’s Church, Newtownhamilton.
McGUIGAN (née O’Hare) Maureen, January 29th 2022, passed away (peacefully) surrounded by her loving family. late of 22 Dundalk Road, Newtownhamilton BT35 0PL.
Maureen, loving wife of Michael, devoted mother of Odran, Margarita (O’Neill) and the late Enda R.I.P. Grandmother of Shane, Conor, Cathal, Raymond and Stephen. Daughter of the late James and Teresa, sister of Jim, Geraldine (Woods) and the late Patsy and Eileen (Hanratty).
Maureen’s family will welcome those who would like to pay their respects at this sad time, with the public health guidelines being adhered to.
The funeral cortège will leave Maureen’s home 22 Dundalk Road, Newtownhamilton BT35 0PL on Monday January 31, 2022 at 10.30am to St Michael’s Church, Newtownhamilton for 11 o’clock requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Deeply regretted by her husband, son, daughter, son- in-law Vincent, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and entire family circle.
