We the family of the late Mary McShane wish to express our sincere appreciation to all who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
To our family at home and abroad, our friends and neighbours and former neighbours of Cecil Street. To Phyllis, Colette, Norbrook and all who visited, phoned or sent mass or sympathy cards. Our thanks also to Our Mother of Mercy Nursing Home for their care for Mary. Also Meadowlands Surgery and McNally’s Chemist. Our thanks also to Rev. Fr. Damian and Rev. Fr. Liam for their hospital visits.
Our heartfelt thanks to the Dominican Prior, Rev. Fr. D. Tohill for his support and guidance and celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass and officiating at the graveside.
To Janice Gribben for the uplifting singing and music and to Deirdre and Bronagh the readers and to those who prepared the grave.
We extend our thanks to Heaney-Keenan Funeral Directors for Ciaran and Patricia’s advice and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
Our thanks also to the Flagstaff Restaurant for the meal after the funeral. We trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our appreciation.
Mary’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated at St Catherine’s Church, Dominic Street on Saturday 23rd October, 2021 at 7.30pm. Mass has been offered for intentions of all.
McSHANE (née McCrudden) Mary died on September 21st 2021, peacefully at Our Mother of Mercy Care Home. Late of 8 Raymond Kelly Park, Newry.
Dearly beloved wife of the late Brian, devoted mother of Ronan, cherished grandmother of Ryan, daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret and loving sister of Patricia and the late John, Jim and Frank.
Mary’s remains will repose at the Heaney Keenan Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6pm – 9pm. Funeral on Thursday for 12.30pm Requiem Mass in St Catherine’s Church, Dominic Street. Burial afterwards in Monkshill Cemetery. House strictly private.
Family flowers only please.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing son, grandson, sister, brother-in-law Pat, sisters-in-law Carmel, Phyllis, Margaret and Rose, nephews, nieces, cousins and entire family circle.
Our Lady of Lourdes pray for her.
