Date of Death: Monday 23rd August 2021 Town: Maghera
Date of Death: Monday 23rd August 2021

We, the family of the late Orla Molloy R.I.P., wish to express our sincere thanks for all the help, support, and generosity we received during our recent sad bereavement. We appreciate and thank all those who called at the home, telephoned, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, floral tributes, posted messages of condolence on social media, brought gifts, or helped in any way. Thank you to the many relatives, neighbours, friends, and wider community who lined the route of the funeral cortege to pay their respects, attended the Requiem Mass or joined us via the Church webcam.

We are indebted to our friends in C.L.G. Watty Graham, An Gleann who provided so much support and solidarity during Orla’s illness, wake and funeral.

We thank Fr. Paddy Doherty for his pastoral care and visits to Orla and for concelebrating with Fr Kieran O’Doherty the beautiful and poignant Requiem Mass. A special word of appreciation goes to Patricia Herron for providing the beautiful music which added so much to the occasion.

Thank you to J.A. Gormley, Funeral Directors, Maghera for their advice and the efficient, professional, and sensitive handling of all arrangements.

Our grateful thanks are extended to the staff at Draperstown Medical Centre and the medical teams at Belfast City Hospital and Laurel House and MacMillan Cancer Centres in Antrim Area Hospital. We appreciate your dedication, compassion, support, and kindness to Orla during her illness.

We hope this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as it would be impossible to express our appreciation individually.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions at Orla’s Months Mind Mass which will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church, Glen at 7.30pm on Friday 24th September 2021. As attendance will be restricted in line with Covid-19 guidelines, the Mass will be streamed live on the Church webcam via the link below.
