The wife, son, daughters and family of the late Alan Moore wish to thank all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. Thanks to Dr. Ross, Saintfield Health Centre and the doctors and staff at Downe Hospital, Downpatrick for all their care and attention. Also thanks to those friends and neighbours who sent cards, telephoned, brought gifts and provisions, sent a donation cheques payable to Parkinson’s UK c/o Douglas Funeral Directors, 20 Dromore Road, Ballynahinch, BT24 8HP, attended the funeral service or helped in any other way. A special word of thanks to Pastor David Whitmarsh and Pastor Paul Stevens for their prayers, words of comfort and for officiating at the Funeral Service. Thanks also to Bill Reid, Douglas Funeral Directors for the caring and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. MOORE, Alan – April 17, 2022, peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, at hospital, in his 75th year, late of 113 Crossgar Road, Saintfield.

Dearly-beloved husband of Kathleen, much-loved and loving father to Kyle, Nadine and Natalie, dear father-in-law of Pamela and David, proud granda to Joshua and Abigail, Ella and Matthew, Faith and Daniel, loved uncle of Janet and her husband David and their children, Reuben, Bethan and Caleb, dearest brother to Colin and the late Charlie.

Funeral Service in Ballynahinch Baptist Church on Wednesday at 2.30 pm, afterwards to Killaney Parish Churchyard.

Friends welcome at his home on Tuesday between 1.00 – 5.00 p.m. and 7.00 – 9.00 pm.

No flowers please. Donations, if desired, made payable to Parkinson’s UK, c/o Douglas Funeral Directors, 20 Dromore Road, Ballynahinch, BT24 8HP.

Will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing wife, son, daughters, niece, brother, families and friends. Redeemed.
