Gerard (Gerry) MULLAN
The family of the late Gerard Mullan R.I.P wish to express their sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.
Thanks to Gerard’s kind neighbours, especially Denis and Roisin Bradley, friends and extended family circle, and to everyone who generously called at the home, telephoned, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters of condolences, flowers, expressed their condolences via social media, brought food and those who helped in the house.
We took great comfort on the morning of the funeral from the support of everyone who lined the funeral cortège route, from those who joined us at the chapel, and from those who viewed Gerard’s funeral mass online.
Special thanks are extended to close family friend Fr. Garrett Campbell for his support, Fr Slater, and Fr Laurence Boyle who officiated at a very beautiful and fitting funeral mass.
Thank you to Andrea Begley & Patrick Slevin for the lovely singing and music during the Mass. Thanks to the Eucharistic Ministers, sacristans and anyone who contributed in any way.
Thank you to piper Shea Toner for the beautiful piping during the funeral.
Thanks to the NIFRS, Holy Trinity College and Cookstown Fr Rocks for the guard of honour for Gerard on the day of the funeral. Also thanks to the members of Cookstown Fr Rocks who helped to direct traffic on the day of the funeral.
Thanks to Dr Miller, Dr Fitzsimons and the staff of Stewartstown Health Centre for their care for Gerard over the years and also to the District Nurses especially Elaine, Catherine, Attracta and Ann, for their care and attention for Gerard. We would also like to thank the staff of Falls Pharmacy, Cookstown.
A special word of thanks to the gravediggers who prepared Gerard’s resting place with great care.
We thank also Joanna and all at Niall A. Loughran Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. To Michael McElhatton and the staff of the Greenvale Hotel who provided the beautiful meal after the burial.
Since it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a heartfelt and sincere expression of our gratitude and appreciation.
