Date of Death: Friday 17th September 2021 Town: Maghera
Date of Death: Friday 17th September 2021

The family of the late Bronagh O’ Connor R.I.P., wish to express our heartfelt thanks for all the love, help, generosity and support we received following the death of a much loved wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother.
We appreciate and thank all those who called at the home, telephoned, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, offered up prayers, sent personal letters, messages, floral tributes, paid tribute on social media, brought gifts, or helped support us in any way.

Thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of Antrim Area Hospital for the care and empathy given to Bronagh during her short illness and to Dr. Niamh Monaghan, Maghera Medical Centre for her exceptional medical care, thoughtfulness and attention shown.
Gratitude to the Marie Curie Nurses, N. Ireland Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Centre for their unwavering guidance and support.

Thank you to the numerous relatives, neighbours, friends, and wider community who lined the route of the funeral cortege to pay their respects, to Maghera Strollers FC and Watty Graham’s Glen Ladies who formed guards of honours and to those who attended the Requiem Mass or joined us via the church webcam. This provided immense comfort to us as a family-thank you.

We thank Fr. Paddy Doherty for his pastoral care and visits to Bronagh and for the beautiful, welcoming and poignant Requiem Mass.
Special thanks to Hannah Ferguson for her beautiful singing and euphonious voice, the Church sacristan Sally Mc Keown for setting up and preparing the church and the gravediggers who duly prepared Bronagh’s resting place.

We would like to extend our appreciation to J.A. Gormley, Funeral Directors, Maghera for their professional advice, efficient, compassionate and sensitive handling of all funeral arrangements.

We hope this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as it would be impossible to express our appreciation individually.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Bronagh’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church, Glen at 7.30pm on Friday 15th October 2021.
