The family of the late Agnes would like to express our heartful gratitude to all those who supported, sympathised and prayed for us through our recent sad bereavement.
Sincere thanks to those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and messages of condolence. To all who attended granny’s (Agnes’) wake and funeral Mass. For all the support we received from relatives, friends and neighbours.
To Canon Noel McGahan PP, for his spiritual guidance and support and the beautiful, touching and personal requiem Mass. We convey our thanks to all those who assisted with the liturgy and to Louise Coyle for the beautiful music.
Our sincere gratitude to McAtee’s Funeral Directors for carrying out the funeral with such kindness, dignity and professionalism. Also a special word of thanks to the grave diggers for preparing granny’s final resting place.
Thank you to local businesses: The Pizza Place Fintona, The Coach Inn, O’Hagans Bridge Tavern and Deazley Eats for providing refreshments for the wake and funeral.
Sincere thanks to Omagh Palliative Care staff and the canteen staff at Omagh Hospital for all their help and assistance.
It is impossible to thank everyone individually, but please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our gratitude and appreciation.
Agnes’ Month’s Mind Mass will take place in St Patrick’s Chapel, Eskra on the 31st December 2023 at 9:30am. Our Lady pray for her.
O’HAGAN (nee McQuaid) Agnes – 123 Corkhill Road, Eskra, Omagh, BT78 1UX died peacefully on Monday the 27th November 2023 in Omagh Primary Care Complex, surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of the late Tommy. Treasured mother of Sharon Murray (Pearse), Dermot, Tommy, Eilish Condy (Harry) and Martina McVeigh (Damien). Devoted and loving grandmother to her 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Cherished sister of Anna McGinn, Sally McAuley and the late Sr. Gretta, Joe and Martin.
Agnes will be reposing in her late residence from 6pm on Monday 27th November. There will be a shuttle bus service from 6pm on Monday and from 4pm on Tuesday, from the Bridge Tavern Car Park.
Agnes will leave her late residence at 11.25am on Wednesday 29th November 2023, for 12noon requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church Eskra followed by her burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only please, with donations in lieu kindly accepted for Marie Curie c/o McAtee Funeral Directors.
For those who wish to show a presence on the funeral route, Agnes will travel from the Corkhill Road, and along the Altnaveragh Road and Eskragh Road to arrive at St Patrick’s church at 11.50 am.
Deeply regretted by her loving daughters, sons, sons in law, grandchildren, great grandchild, sisters, in-laws, nephews, nieces and entire family circle. Our Lady pray for her.
