The family of the late James RIP, wish to thank all who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement.
We especially would like to thank everyone who telephoned, called to our home, sent Mass and sympathy cards and posted messages through social media. We thank all those who lined the funeral cortége route, attended the funeral and helped in any way.

Many thanks to Fr.Curran for his spiritual support and celebrating the Funeral Mass, and to those who viewed via the Church webcam. A special thanks to Una McGill for the beautiful singing.

A special word of thanks to WJ. O’Donnell & Sons Funeral Directors and staff for the professional, compassionate and dignified manner in which they carried out all the funeral arrangements. We cannot put into words the appreciation we have towards yourself and your company.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation and gratitude to all.

James’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in Saint Mary’s Church, Portglenone on Wednesday 1st December at 7 pm.

O’KANE James died on 4th November 2021 (peacefully at hospital) Late of 96 Gortgole Road, Portglenone

James RIP, beloved husband of the late Josie, and much loved father of John, Mary (Monaghan), Peter, Damien, Karen (McDonnell) and the late Seamus.

James’s remains are reposing in W J O’Donnell’s South Derry Funeral Home, 43 Glenone Road, Clady (Corner). Visitors are welcome to call to pay their respects on Friday 5th November between 4.30pm and 5.30pm whereby his remains will then be removed to St Mary’s Church, Portglenone.

Requiem Mass on Saturday 6th November at 11am, followed by burial immediately afterwards in Aughnahoy Cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing sons, daughters, sons in law Patsy and Ciaran, daughter in law Mary, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all the family circle. On his soul sweet Jesus have mercy.
