We, the family of the late Marian O’Keefe wish to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.

Thank you to all our extended family, friend and neighbours and to all who called, sent messages and cards.

Thank you to Daniel Mallon Funeral Director for the dignified and compassionate way in which they carried.out the funeral arrangement. To Fr Larkin for the meaningful mass and making it personal to Marian. Thank you to Janice Gribben for the beautiful music.

A special thanks to the Macmillan Team in Craigavon Area hospital and South Tyrone who looked after Marian over the period of her illness. Thank you to the District Nursing team in Newtownhamilton for their care and support. Thank you to the Pallative care team in Craigavon hospital especially Dr Morris and Staff Nurse Jenny and to the staff of the Southern Area Hospice, Newry for their dignified and compassion care they showed to Marian and the support they provided to the family. We will be forever grateful. A special thanks to Enable Care for their care and support.

As it is impossible to thank everyone personally, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of appreciation from Marian’s family.
Marian’s months mind mass will take place on Saturday 5th February in the Good Shepherd, Cloughreagh at 6pm.

O’KEEFE (née Short) Marian (Whitecross & Bessbrook) 6th January 2022, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Dearly beloved wife of Paul, deeply devoted mother of Glen, Aaran and Dale, cherished daughter of the late Packy and Peggy RIP, caring sister of Linda and the late Patrick RIP, loving mother in law of Emma, Chelsea and Emma, dearest aunt to Niamh and Sian, great aunt to Dara and Fiachra and sister in law to Isaac and Patricia.

Marian’s remains will repose in Mallon’s Funeral Home, Mill Rd, Bessbrook Friday 6-8pm, Saturday and Sunday 12-2pm and 6-8pm for family and friends observing social distancing rules.

Funeral leaving at 10.15am on Monday 10th January for 11am Requiem Mass in SS Peter and Paul’s Church Bessbrook, interment in adjoining cemetery. Requiem Mass attendance restricted in accordance with public health guidelines. Mass will be streamed on Daniel Mallon Funeral Director’s Facebook page.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing husband, sons, sister, daughters in law, nieces and the entire family circle.

Our Lady of Lourdes and St Martin de Porres, pray for her.
