Maura and the family circle of the late Ciarán O’Loan wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.

A special thanks to Fr. McCaughan P.P. for his spiritual support, guidance and celebrating the Requiem Mass. Thanks to Carmel McCaughern and James Henry for the music, the sacristan Noel Burns and Aidan Reid who prepared the grave.

The family wish to thank the relatives, friends, neighbours and members of the wider community and those who sent messages, cards, and donations to Trócaire. Thanks also to the medical professionals who helped them throughout their difficult time. A special thanks to the staff and pupils of St. Brigid’s P.S Ballymoney for the guard of honour and those who gathered along the route to the church on the day of the funeral.

Thanks to McKiernan’s Funeral Directors for their dignified and compassionate service.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

The month’s mind Mass for Ciarán will be celebrated on Saturday 5th February at 6:30 and can be viewed on Our Lady & St Patrick’s, Ballymoney YouTube channel.

O’LOAN Ciarán died on 5th January 2022, peacefully at home, 49 Finvoy Road, Ballymoney, BT53 7JE.

Beloved husband of Maura; loving father of Patrick, Theresa, Anna and the late Daniel; father-in-law of Sorcha and Steve and grandfather of Sáerlaith and Éabha. Son of Anastasia and the late Henry and beloved brother of Bríd.

Funeral from his late residence, 49 Finvoy Road BT53 7JE, on Saturday at 10:30am for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass in Our Lady & St. Patrick’s Church, Ballymoney. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. (Requiem Mass can be viewed on Our Lady & St. Patrick’s, Ballymoney YouTube channel). Our Lady of Fatima pray for Him.

Due to government restrictions the family home is for family and close friends only and funeral Mass numbers are limited to social distancing within the Church.
