Date of Death: Thursday 10th April 2025

We the family of the late Packie McElhone, Tromague, Carrickmore, wish to express our deep gratitude to all who sympathised and supported us at the time of his passing.

Our heartfelt thanks to the doctors and staff of Carrickmore Health Centre, Beragh & Fintona District nursing staff, Damien and the staff at McAleer Medical Hall, and Harte’s Pharmacy, for the support & care given to daddy during the past number of years. Our thanks also to the Rapid Response team, and Palliative care nurses for their care in the final days.

To Clare, Kate, Maggie, Monica, Orlagh and Tara, who all looked after daddy so respectfully.

We wish also to extend our sincere thanks to all our neighbours, friends and family, who attended the house and helped us out during the wake and funeral, bringing food and providing refreshments.
To all who attended the wake and funeral, sent messages of condolence, cards and donations to Termonmaguire Comfort fund.
To all those who assisted with stewarding and parking.
To the grave diggers who prepared daddy’s final resting place.

Our sincere thanks to Father McAnenley for all his spiritual support, and for celebrating the beautiful requiem mass.

To Sinead and Rory who provided the music during the mass, and to Phelim and Oisin who also enhanced the mass, with their music.

A special word of thanks to Kate McAleer, funeral director and Peter, for the dignified and respectful way in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.

To the Charm Inn for providing the food after the funeral, and to the Patrician Hall for the use of their facilities.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.

The Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on 9″ May @ 7.30pm in St Colmcille’s Church Carrickmore.
