The family circle of the late David Scott wish to express their most sincere thanks to all those kind relatives, friends and neighbours who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.

A special word of thanks to The Very Rev. Sam Wright for conducting the Funeral Service and for his words of comfort and prayers. To the family doctor, Dr. McNeill, Ballygomartin Group Practice and Staff at R.V.H. Ward 29 for their unfailing care and attention. To all those who sent donations, cheques payable to Friends of the Cancer Centre and N.I. Hospice (c/o Ronnie Thompson Funeral Directors). Sent letters and cards of sympathy, telephoned, called at the home, brought gifts, attended the funeral or helped in any way.

Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

SCOTT, David – 11th January 2022. Peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital after a long illness. Late of Howard Place, Lisburn.

Dearly loved son of Paul and Nonie. Much loved brother of Miriam, Sarah and Stephen. Loving uncle to Anna, Aimee and Alexander.

An informal service of thanksgiving for the life of David will be held in Lisburn Cathedral on Friday 14th January at 12.30pm, with a private cremation taking place on Monday.

No flowers please. Donations, if desired for Friends Of The Cancer Centre and N.I. Hospice, cheques payable to Ronnie Thompson Donations Account, 20 Ballinderry Road, Lisburn, BT28 1UF.

David will be lovingly remembered and very sadly missed by his parents, sisters, brother, nieces, nephew and friends. Peace is yours, memories ours.
