Christopher STARRS

Date of Death: Thursday 9th September 2021 Town: Fintona
Date of Death: Thursday 9th September 2021

Christopher passed away on the 9th of September, a widely respected, devoted family man and much-loved husband, father, brother, brother in law, uncle and friend.

We, his family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. We have been overwhelmed by the sheer volume of mass and sympathy cards and private messages we have received. We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Our thanks to those who called to the house, who telephoned, who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers and those who left messages online or via social media and to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us via the webcam. Sincere thanks to our friends and neighbours who helped out in so many ways, to help us grieve as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Sean Mulligan for his spiritual support and the comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who assisted with the Mass, especially the singer Louise Coyle who provided the beautiful music. Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave digger Tommy for preparing Christopher’s final resting place.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Christopher’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Monday 11th October at 10am. Our Lady pray for him.
