We the family of the late Jimmy R.I.P wish to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us during the recent and sad loss of a dear husband, father and grandfather.

Sincere thanks to those who attended the wake at the funeral home and to those who helped in anyway during the wake at the family home.
Thank you to all who sent messages of sympathy, mass cards and sympathy cards, brought food and floral tributes your thoughts were greatly appreciated.

A special word of thanks to Fr Joseph for his presence, prayers and the beautiful Requiem Mass.

To Joelene and Martin for the singing in the church, thank you.
To McLaughlin Funeral Directors ,thank you for your care and guidance with carrying out the funeral arrangements in a dignified way.

To the church sacristan and stewards, thank you.

Thank you to Sean and Martin for controlling the traffic during the funeral cortege.

Sincere thanks to everyone who attended the funeral mass from near and far, stood along the roadside or outside the church and to The Kevin Lynch Band for their guard of honour.

As it would be impossible to express our appreciation individually, we hope this acknowledgment will be accepted by you all as a token of our sincere heartfelt thanks.

Jimmy’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 22nd of October in St Patrick’s Church, Dungiven at 7.30pm.

STEWART Jimmy died on the 16th of September 2021, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital. Late of 85 Benbradagh Avenue, Dungiven, Co Derry.

Beloved husband of Josephine and loving father of Paul, Gary, Sharon, Dee and Kevin. A devoted grandfather and father in law.
Loving brother of Kathleen Mary McCusker.

Viewing at McLaughlin’s Funeral Home – Friday 5pm to 9pm. Leaving the funeral home at 9pm to repose at his late residence, sadly due to the ongoing pandemic the wake is strictly private.

Funeral from his late residence on Sunday 19th of September leaving at 12.20pm for 1pm Requiem Mass in Saint Patrick‘s Church Dungiven. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please and donations if desired in lieu Foyle Hospice c/o McLaughlin Funeral Directors.

Deeply regretted and will be very sadly missed by all his loving family.
