Date of Death: Tuesday 14th November 2023

We the family of the late Dylan Vallely, loving son of Catherine and Shane, beloved brother of Sophia and Amelia, cherished grandson of Shane and Ann-Marie Toner, Donal and the late Ann Vallely R.I.P and the entire family circle would like to express our deepest and sincere thanks to our extended family, friends, club mates, neighbour’s and those who travelled to sympathise and support us on the recent passing of our precious son Dylan. We would also like to include those who sent mass cards, letters, floral tributes, and messages of condolences via social media. Our greatest gratitude to those who helped during the wake and funeral, including those who generously provided food and refreshments in our time of mourning. We will be forever grateful and have taken great comfort from your kindness and support.
Words cannot express our gratitude towards the emergency services, staff of Daisy Hill Hospital and the Royal Victoria Hospital who treated Dylan with such loving, professional and dignified manner throughout his time in their care. We will be forever grateful.
We as a family are truly overwhelmed by the many people who travelled from near and far to attend the novenas to pray for Dylan. We would also like to thank those who organized it, led them, directed traffic, and helped in any way considering such conditions. We got great comfort during that time and are truly grateful to each and every one of you.
We are forever indebted to St. Michael’s GFC for all their support during this difficult time, from the organisation at the novenas, Dylan’s wake, the funeral and the remarkable guard of honour shown for Dylan. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our neighbouring club’s especially St. Patrick’s Cullyhanna who contributed in many ways during this time and their beautiful guard of honour also. As you know Dylan spent a lot of time around this club supporting his mum and sisters.
To St. Joseph’s High School Crossmaglen, we are amazed and touched by the beautiful tribute and poem you wrote for our precious Dylan. We as a family know how much Dylan meant to you all as a pupil and classmate. You can be rest assured you all meant the same to him. Also, a special word of thanks to St. Patrick’s Primary School Cullyhanna for contributing during this difficult time.
We would like to sincerely thank Canon Michael Toner, Fr Dermot, and Fr Malachy Conlon for the very special and personal requiem mass for Dylan.
We are very thankful to the talented Dearbhla McCoy and Joanna Doran for the beautiful music and singing during Dylan’s mass, which was very special and touching for all.
Many thanks to Mona McEntee and her staff for providing the beautiful food and excellent service after the funeral, and to St. Michael’s for the use of their facilities.
A final word of thanks to Aisling, Seamus and James of Murray Funeral Directors Cullyhanna for their professionalism, compassion and dignified manner they showed us at this sad time, for taking great care of our Dylan. Thank you to the grave diggers whom carefully prepared Dylan’s final resting place. Also thank you to Caroline of Fab Fleurs and James and Gary of Murlan House for the beautiful flower arrangements.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our sincere appreciation, gratitude and heartfelt thanks. A holy Mass will be offered up for your intentions.

Dylan’s Months Mind will be celebrated on Sunday the 17th December – (his 17th birthday), at 10am in St. Michael’s church, Newtownhamilton.

Forever engraved in our hearts, Dylan you are our life, soul, world, our everything! Rest in peace precious boy. Our lady of Knock pray for Dylan.
